Payment for the Bach festival is handled by parents on the Southern California Junior Bach Festival website. Before registering students, teachers must pay an annual $25 fee to use the SCJBF webiste.

The Music Teachers' Association of California: Long Beach Branch

Ensemble Festival

Entry Fee: $10
This Festival is open to ensembles of all ages, levels, and instruments (including voice). We welcome students, teachers, family members, and friends. Holiday Music is welcome!

Theme Festival

Entry Fee: $15
This non-competitive Branch festival is open to all levels of keyboard, instrumental, and voice students and teachers. This year's theme is "Music of the Past 150 Years." Performance times should be no longer than five minutes. Participants will receive a certificate.

Bach and Baroque Festival

​Entry Fee: $40
Our Branch Bach and Baroque Festival is presented in tandem with the Southern California Junior Bach Festival. Registration is done through their website. Students participating in this festival will receive comments from three evaluators. Students performing works by J.S. Bach may be eligible to compete in SCJBF's regional festival.

Branch Recitals

​Entry Fee: $15
Branch Recitals provide performance opportunities for students of all levels and ages. Recitals are scheduled
on Saturdays, and the number of programs depends on the number of entries. Performance and dress codes
must be followed as instructed on the application form. It is recommended students memorize solo pieces.
